The particular booking enquiry may not be available for the dates the traveller would  like to travel so you will then have to offer the traveller other  options similar to the booking enquiry package. Or you may wish to offer a similar package from a preferred supplier.

I use preferred operators will I be able to sell their products if they are not registered with Travel Internet Solutions?

Yes, you are at liberty to sell whatever you feel would be most appropriate and beneficial to the traveller.  Consideration, sensitivity and accountability to the travellers needs are key to closing the sale.

If I receive an enquiry from a prospective client who wants to pay by credit card but lives elsewhere in South Africa how can I protect myself against fraud and process that booking without seeing the card?

We suggest you use one of the online payment transaction facilities such as Iveri, or Virtual Card Services (VCS) where the transaction is done online in the same way as a standard transaction. The only risk is that you will not have a physical imprint of the card but your risk can be reduced by getting authorisation on the card and identifying the cardholder by requesting copies of ID, passport & credit card and running a credit check on the consumer.

Can I add my own packages to my website?

Yes, if you register as a tour operator.

Can I advertise on my website?

Yes you will be able to run customized advertising campaigns on your website. The campaign will be managed by Travel IS and Travel IS will charge a subscriber a lower rate, which will be a percentage of the standard rate charged to advertisers.
