I have my own website so how would I benefit from registering with Travel Internet Services?

The online traveller invariably visits several websites when researching a holiday, so by showcasing your packages on our sites you are multiplying your exposure to more online travellers who may not have visited your website.

How are the enquiries submitted?

Enquiries are submitted in 4 possible ways:

  1. By submitting a detailed enquiry form directly from the website, which is automatically delivered to the appropriate consultant.
  2. By sending an enquiry via the feedback form.
  3. By calling the Travel IS Help desk.
  4. By calling the travel agency of the website the browser may be visiting.

How do I know if these enquiries are efficiently and effectively dealt with?

When an enquiry is sent via the online booking enquiry form we monitor these enquiries via our administrative tool to make sure that the enquiries have been received and dealt with appropriately by the travel consultant. The travel consultant through her own secure login can maintain the progress of the booking.

Are all booking enquiries archived?

Yes those enquiries that are submitted via the online booking enquiry form. Travel IS also keep records of all enquiries submitted whether via the online booking request form, the feedback form, email or a telephone enquiry.

Where will my packages be displayed?

On all the websites registered with Travel Internet Solutions. Please refer to the websites by clicking on the Travel Agent & ITC’s links on http://www.travelis.co.za

As a supplier of packages or content to the Travel IS Network how do I send you the data you require for the site?

As a registered Travel IS  tour operator you access the site through your own secure login  with your chosen username and password. It is then a simple process  of loading the essentials of the package, such as price, validity,  length of stay, inclusions, exclusions & terms  and conditions. That's all.

Must I register with Travel IS in order to submit holiday packages to the site?

Yes, registration with Travel Internet Solutions is a requirement because the sites inventory can then be managed efficiently and productively, keeping the information current and accurate.

Can any other registered tour operator view my inventory of holiday packages?

No, your login is completely secure and your  inventory of packages and package information cannot be viewed  by other registered tour operators.

Can my inventory be seen by Travel Internet Solutions registered travel consultants?

Yes, each registered travel consultant has a personal login code which gives her access to the Travel IS database and all the vital information she will require regarding  the package, such as, suppliers details, contact person, rules,  terms, conditions and reference number.

How often should I submit holiday package information to the Travel IS Network?

When a new package is created it is important  to load it onto the site immediately or as soon as possible, so  our dedicated data capturers can add images and an overview of  the destination before loading it onto the portal.

If I have a query or need assistance who do I contact?

A dedicated data capturer will be managing your inventory and you will contact that person who will stay in regular  contact with the assigned contact person from your company. You will also be able to contact our help desk or Lindsay Quail in  the event of an unlikely emergency.

Is the submitting of data complicated and does it take a long time?

No, it is very simple and will take a fraction of the time it would to send the information via email.

Why do I have to pay to be a registered supplier to the Travel IS Network?

The fee covers our administrative & operatonal costs in data capturing and loading your packages to the many sites.

If I want to terminate my registration with Travel Internet Solutions how much notice should I give you?

30 days notice is all that is required.
